PaRappa and his gang of wacky characters have been stealing the hearts and funny bones of people worldwide since PaRappa the Rapper hit the scene in 1996 on the Sony PlayStation.
It was an incredible and quirky passion project born from the musician and producer Masaya Matsuura and the artist Rodney Greenblat.
PaRappa the Rapper combined a worldwide love of Hip-Hop, peace, and comedy to push the popularity of the emerging rhythm game genre.
From the Parappa team also came the cult favorite game Um Jammer Lammy, and these characters expanded into standalone albums, a TV show, and a series of comic books.
